Lofoten is a true road trip destination, meaning that the main thing to do is to drive around and experience the breathtaking views! I would recommend to stay in different Airbnbs or Hotels to experience every corner! 🗺️

You can drive easily with your own rental car or take the express bus 300! But in a country with more than 2 million sheep, and probably as many mountains to drive up and down from, you won’t be able to drive faster than 70 km/h. 😂

Take your time, plan accordingly, and don’t forget to make time for stops to admire the views – you will need it. 🐑🏔️📸

Right before you turn to Reine there is a small parking space, usually quite empty. Leave your car there and walk on foot through Reine and Sakrisøy, all the way to Hamnoy.

It's a great walk and all these three villages have so much character and good spots!

Imagine that there’s a land where the sun doesn’t set in summer but doesn’t rise in winter. A place where the night sky explodes into a colorful dance and jagged mountains rise up from the ocean. Such a place sound like taken from a fairytale or a Disney movie but in reality, it’s named the Lofoten Islands.

In fact a lot of places like restaurants and cafés close in winter and all hikes are very though and not possible, there’s two undeniable reasons of the winter season: Incredible sceneries with very little amounts of visitors!

The "Stadium" is a small, unassuming football pitch which is set against a backdrop of towering mountains and surrounded by the sparkling ocean, and traditional fish drying racks. It's a truly stunning setting and a nice place to explore all angles!

The easiest way to get to the stadium is by car. There is a small parking lot located next to the stadium! 🚌

I think the best time to photograph the Stadium is during the summer months, when the weather is warm and sunny.

It is never completely dark all the time!
Even though the sun remains below the horizon, Northern Norway is not blacked out.

📌 Monument Valley is located in the south east corner of Utah, right on the Utah Arizona border.
📌 National Park Passes are not excepted.
📌 The park entry fee is good for two days, so you can have a sunrise and sunset in the park.
📌 the road is very dirt. Make sure there is no rain and bring water and food.
